VISION

We’re asking: What is Natural?

This site is for folks whose souls and skills call us together to preserve the best of human ingenuity and wisdom, the tools for living a good life, and to transmit those for future generations. We're lovers of the classic canon of literature and philosophy, and in refining and growing our relationship with Nature and our own natures. We find ourselves outside the left-right political paradigm. Currently Philosophy Farm has two properties, one in Maine and one in Colorado, that we're using as farm, home, school, and artist zone.

WHY A FARM?

Through our studies of agroecology, ecology, permaculture, and natural history -- nature -- we've come to see farms as extensions of the natural world. We live as if we arise from nature and will return to Her. We forage, glean, garden,  herd, and tend.
